Membership FAQ

Who should I list as my named members?

Any adult can be named the primary member, usually the main parent who will be taking their family to the museum most often. All adults and children must be named on the membership.

When does my membership become active?

Your membership will activate after your first visit to the museum.

How do I use my guest passes?

Guest passes can be redeemed at the front desk upon check-in. For any further assistance, please ask our front desk staff or email membership@kidstream.org

How do I add my Membership card to my phone?

For iPhone users, start by opening the digital card email sent by the museum on your smartphone. Click the “Download” button, followed by the “Add to Apple Wallet,” then click “Add.” Your kidSTREAM membership card will be downloaded to your Apple Wallet. For Android users, start by downloading the app,  Wallet Passes from Google Play. After installing the app, open the digital card email on your smartphone and click the “Download” button. The card can be accessed anytime in the Wallet Passes app.

How do members check in?

An adult membership holder must provide valid photo ID upon check-in at the front desk. An adult named member must be present during each museum visit. Children must also be named on the membership.

Do members have to make a reservation?

No. However, online reservations are encouraged for guaranteed entry at peak days/times.

Do additional named adults (i.e. grandparent, nanny) need to provide ID?

Caregivers must be named on the membership and provide photo ID in order to access membership benefits. 

How do I share my Membership card with other named members?

Please have the primary member forward the appropriate email to other named members listed on your Membership.

Can others use my membership card?

No, memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. 

I do not have a mobile phone. How do I access my member benefits?

Please provide a photo ID at the front desk so our staff can manually look up your membership. 

There’s an issue with my Membership card, what can I do?

We are happy to help with any membership issues. Please email membership@kidstream.org for assistance.
