KIDSTREAM CHILDREN’S MUSEUM WELCOMES TWO NEW BOARD MEMBERS

CAMARILLO, California, Jan 21, 2024  - kidSTREAM is excited to welcome Lindsey Carnett, CEO of Marketing Maven, and Marilyn Peake, Learning & Development Leader at Reiter Affiliated Companies, to the kidSTREAM board of directors. 


Lindsey Carnett is an accomplished business leader and advocate for children’s education. A mother of two daughters, she has a passion for literacy and promoting women in STEM. As CEO of Marketing Maven, an award-winning PR and integrated marketing agency based in Camarillo, Lindsey brings expertise in strategic growth and community engagement. She serves as Vice Chair of the West Ventura County Business Alliance and sits on the boards of California Lutheran University’s Community Leaders Association and St. John’s Healthcare Foundation. A graduate of California Lutheran University with a B.A. in Spanish and Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising, Lindsey is also a Celebrity Reader for First 5 California, sharing her love of reading, in Spanish and English, with children in Ventura County.


Marilyn Peake brings over a decade of experience in the non-profit and community education sectors, with a focus on organizational development and partnerships. As Learning & Development Business Partner at Reiter Affiliated Companies, the world’s largest berry producer, Marilyn oversees development programs for California Operations, connecting people to their passions and purpose. A proud first-generation college graduate from Oxnard, Marilyn earned degrees from Oxnard College, UCLA, and an MBA from CSU Channel Islands. She has served on several local boards and was named Oxnard Chamber of Commerce’s Woman of the Year in 2018 and was a recipient of the Pacific Coast Business Times’ Latino Business Award in 2017. Marilyn is committed to sharing her values of community and service with her 4-year-old daughter, Anna.
