"We are incredibly proud of the experienced team that is coming together at kidSTREAM to create the best possible experiences for the children of Ventura County and beyond," said Michael Shanklin, Executive Director of kidSTREAM. "Our recent progress has been remarkable. We've recently submitted our plans to the city and are eagerly awaiting construction permits. Additionally, just the other week, we announced a transformative $2M donation from Amgen and the Amgen Foundation, which propels us even closer to realizing our vision."
With a planned mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits and programming focused on science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and math, kidSTREAM Children’s Museum will bring increased access to hands-on, interactive learning that inspire and prompt curiosity to over 200,000 children growing up in Ventura County.
"Momentum continues to build, and the support from our community has been instrumental in this journey, we cannot thank them enough," added Shanklin. "Please join me in welcoming Dani Hildreth to the kidSTREAM family, and celebrating the continued progress we are making together."
