CAMARILLO, California, June 6, 2024 - kidSTREAM Children’s Museum is thrilled to announce the appointment of Danielle Hildreth as the new Director of Guest Experience. She has over a decade of international experience in education and is passionate about creating innovative experiences that spark curiosity, joy, and connection. Dani's extensive background in launching children's museums encompasses exhibit design, educational programming, and community engagement making her an invaluable addition to the team as the museum works towards opening its doors to the children of Ventura County.

Dani brings a wealth of experience from her roles at Expo 2020 Dubai, Immersive Experiences, OliOli® Children's Museum, and the Children’s Museum of Denver. In her role with Expo 2020 Dubai, she led successful operations and educational programs for over 1 million school visitors for the six-month global event. At OliOli®, Dani played a pivotal role in establishing the first children's museum in Dubai by laying the operational foundations, elevating guest experiences, and creating programs that engaged a diverse audience. Her time at the Children’s Museum of Denver further honed her skills in operations and project management, as she supported the museum through a $16.1M expansion.

Dani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture and Art History from Colorado State University and a Masters in Arts and Culture Management from Rome Business School. Her passion for early childhood education, coupled with her extensive experience in designing exhibits and creating educational programs, aligns perfectly with kidSTREAM's mission to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in young learners.

"We are incredibly proud of the experienced team that is coming together at kidSTREAM to create the best possible experiences for the children of Ventura County and beyond," said Michael Shanklin, Executive Director of kidSTREAM. "Our recent progress has been remarkable. We've recently submitted our plans to the city and are eagerly awaiting construction permits. Additionally, just the other week, we announced a transformative $2M donation from Amgen and the Amgen Foundation, which propels us even closer to realizing our vision."

With a planned mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits and programming focused on science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and math, kidSTREAM Children’s Museum will bring increased access to hands-on, interactive learning that inspire and prompt curiosity to over 200,000 children growing up in Ventura County.

"Momentum continues to build, and the support from our community has been instrumental in this journey, we cannot thank them enough," added Shanklin. "Please join me in welcoming Dani Hildreth to the kidSTREAM family, and celebrating the continued progress we are making together."
