Younger groups and special needs groups require a ratio of 1 adult chaperone for every 3 children.Required chaperones receive free admission. Please alert your event coordinator if you plan on having any chaperones purchase tickets separately from the group reservation. Students should be divided into groups and assigned a chaperone prior to arrival.Chaperones must keep their assigned students in sight at all times.
Because most of kidSTREAM's current exhibit space is outdoors, we strongly recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and a water bottle. We also encourage all visitors to wear sunscreen.
Backpacks and lunchboxes will be collected by museum staff and stored during your visit. Students may hold on to snacks, water bottles, and other drinks. Please pack all student lunches together into large boxes, coolers, or bins labeled with your school's name. Upon arrival, museum staff will immediately secure these bins for you. Please be aware that the museum does not have refrigeration available for group lunches. If items must be kept cool, we recommend packing lunches in coolers. Your group can transition outdoors to Bob Kildee Community Park for lunch. Tables are public and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
